KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Tennessee fans have taken an early lead over Florida in MEDIC Regional Blood Center’s yearly competition with LifeSouth Community Blood Bank.

As it stands, Tennessee fans have pulled ahead of Florida in the competition.

The competition runs from Sept. 22 to Sept. 26 and promises extra goodies to anyone who donates.

Those who donate blood, platelets or ALYX also have the chance to grab a special t-shirt and coupons for Papa John’s, Salsarita’s, Texas Roadhouse and Denton’s.

While appointments aren’t needed, it’s a good idea. Those who want to set one up can check here or call 865-524-3074.
