GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — After an anticipated opening later this year, it’s clear that a long-awaited Glendale resort isn’t coming along as planned.

The $1.2 billion VAI Resort was originally set to open in 2023 before being delayed to 2025, according to previous reports . But now, its website has removed any mention of an opening date.

VAI’s frequently asked questions page now says “we are not ready to provide a specific opening date,” adding that it will wait until it can offer a proper guest experience. The page continues saying that a specific opening date would be announced nine to 12 months before opening.
