SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) - Salina city commissioners have approved a bid for a new splash pad at Jerry Ivey Memorial Park during a meeting on Monday.
The estimated $710,000 bid from ATHCO for the splash pad would replace a since-demolished one at the park, as KSAL News has reported, was closed in 2024 due to underground plumbing and infrastructure issues. The former splash pad had been open since 2008.
