Brent Venables and the Oklahoma Sooners are living the best-case scenario possible. When the Sooners entered the season, there were plenty of doubts about them. They were given the toughest schedule in all of college football, alongside Billy Napier’s Florida Gators. However, the Gators crumbled under the pressure, sitting at a 1-3 record heading into Week 5, while Oklahoma is 4-0. Nobody expected this to happen. The Sooners are doing everything except one thing. They are literally ranked 135th in that statistic. GM Jim Nagy isn’t stressed about it and promised that when it rains, it pours.

There isn’t any major concern the Sooners need to be aware of. Their 4-0 record speaks for itself. However, one odd statistic comes up when you look at their defense, specifically forcing turnovers.
