Katy Perry has vowed to continue to "move forward".

The 40-year-old singer has experienced a difficult year, splitting from fiance Orlando Bloom, facing criticism for her participation in a Blue Origin space flight, and a poor response to her 143 album, but she is ready for whatever comes her way in the future.

In a lengthy Instagram post reflecting on the year since she released 143, she wrote: "Through my years in the spotlight, I have been beloved, tested and tried. That’s the journey. I am blessed to know that there’s always two sides to each coin, and I learn that even when I hit tails, somehow through it all, I keep making my wishes.
