A man was arrested Monday evening, Sept. 22, after he allegedly assaulted his fiancé's 11-year-old daughter.

At 7:57 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 1800 block of Aspen Street after the woman called 911 and said her fiancé, a 35-year-old man, assaulted her daughter. The man then dragged her from the residence and was walking down the street, refusing to let her go, according to a release from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
