MACON, Ga. — A Macon-Bibb County Code Enforcement officer was arrested Monday and accused of taking a woman's phone during a traffic stop and sending himself photos from her device, according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
They say Christopher Tyler Willcox worked for the Macon-Bibb County Code Enforcement officer when he pulled a woman over on Hawkinsville Road on Sept. 11.
They say Willcox took her phone into his car while verifying her credentials and vehicle registration. But when Willcox returned the woman's phone to her, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office says she noticed something.
She found that Willcox had sent images from her phone to his own phone, according to the news release.
