INDIANAPOLIS — An immigrant illegally living in Indianapolis has been sentenced to over three decades behind bars after pleading guilty to sexually exploiting a local 15-year-old girl.

Carlos Fredy Granados, 35, was sentenced this week to 35 years in federal prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release and potential removal from the U.S. This came after he pled guilty to child sexual exploitation, coercion of a minor, and possession of child sex abuse materials.

Court documents detail how, between May and August 2023, Granados sexually exploited and abused a 15-year-old girl. The 35-year-old also reportedly filmed the abuse and saved videos of the victim.
