OSCODA – Members of the Oscoda Township Economic Improvement Committee (EIC) gathered in the Robert J. Parks Library, at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, for their first evening meeting.

The EIC had previously been meeting at 11 a.m., on the first Thursday of each month.

In what began with the Sept. 4 meeting, though, all EIC meetings are now scheduled for 6:30 p.m. They will continue to be held in the library, located at 6010 N. Skeel Ave., on the date noted above.

The committee had approved the time change when they met on Aug. 7, in order to provide a greater number of residents with an opportunity to attend the EIC meetings, and to learn more about the group’s mission, vision and strategic goals.
