Ben Stiller is launching a new soda brand inspired by his childhood love of Shirley Temples.

The 59-year-old actor and director has unveiled his own Stiller's Soda collection - which includes Root Beer, Lemon Lime and Shirley Temple flavours - which take inspiration from he and his sister Amy joining their parents Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara at nightclub performances in the '70s and '80s.

He told PEOPLE magazine: "Shirley Temples, in particular, were a big thing for me growing up...

“They were comedians, and we would be hanging out with grown-ups a lot.

"And when you'd be at a nightclub with grown-ups as a kid, you'd order Shirley Temple and you felt like you were kind of cool. And of course, because you couldn't really drink anything else.”
