OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The First Alert 6 Weather Team has received reports after rain and hail hit the Omaha area late Monday into Tuesday.

Monday evening, spotty severe thunderstorms began to form west of the metro. As lingering showers stayed into early Tuesday, drivers were warned of wet roads for the morning commute .

There were two crashes Tuesday: 72nd and Q streets and 120th and Webster streets. The crashes happened amid potential for slick roads.

Shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday, the Nebraska Department of Transportation shared that there was a jackknifed semi on Interstate 80 westbound at 24th Street.

Reports show golf ball sized hail in Fremont and Prague. Cedar Bluffs and Inglewood saw ping pong ball sized hail. In Moorhead, Iowa there was quarter sized hail and near Creston,
