STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) - Oklahoma State University (OSU) football coach Mike Gundy has been told he is out as head coach, according to OSU sideline reporter Robert Allen.

This follows a crushing season last year and a rough start to the current season.

As you may remember, rumors began circulating about Gundy's tenure coming to an end, but in December 2024, Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State agreed in principle on a restructured contract for him to remain as OSU head coach. Sources told KFOR that Gundy’s deal included a pay cut and language that gave him less autonomy in hiring coordinators.

Gundy in 20 years at OSU has two losing seasons.
