PLYMPTON, Mass. —

Multiple law enforcement agencies, including officers from the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, were at a property in Plympton, Massachusetts, on Tuesday afternoon.

MSPCA said the team was executing a search warrant related to an animal cruelty investigation.

From Sky5, teams could be seen in animal pens behind a home at 34 Lake St. Several chicken coops, shed-type buildings and barrels could be seen, along with multiple livestock birds, including chickens, turkeys and ducks.

Officers were seen putting several of the birds into animal carriers, which were then loaded into a trailer from MSPCA Nevins Farm .

Plympton police posted that the scene was secure and there was no threat to the general public.
