The new SSA.gov homepage, announced this week, emphasizes self-service tools and simplifies navigation for users who want to manage their benefits without visiting a field office.

According to the SSA, the updated design highlights the “my Social Security” portal, where users can sign up or log in to view benefit estimates, apply for retirement or disability benefits, check application status, or request a replacement Social Security card.
