GLENDALE, Ariz. — Fans planning on attending the Arizona Cardinals game on Sept. 25 will need to plan for extra time, officials said.
Since the game is expected to start around rush hour, roadways around State Farm Stadium will be very busy.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said heavier afternoon rush hour traffic is expected on westbound Interstate 10 and the Loop 101 before Thursday's game.
Here are some recommendations for traveling to the game:
Allow for extra travel time
Those going to the game should allow for extra travel time. Plan to arrive well before the 5:15 p.m. kickoff at State Farm Stadium. According to the Cardinals' website, parking lots are expected to open at 1:15 p.m.
