Headband Joe is back.

Fan-favorite former Colorado State men's basketball player Joe Palmer is back with the Rams .

Palmer made the jump from Division III Augsburg to CSU and played two seasons for the Rams from 2022-24.

The headband-wearing Palmer quickly became a fan-favorite at CSU, helping the Rams make the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

After graduation, Palmer briefly played overseas and even spent some time helping coach at Fort Collins High School .

Now he'll serve as a graduate assistant for first-year head coach Ali Farokhmanesh.

CSU announced Palmer's addition as a graduate assistant in a video on X.
