Kroger frozen shrimp being recalled at stores under the company's umbrella of stores nationwide.

Consumers are urged to check freezers for packages of shrimp being recalled for possible contamination.

If you’ve bought frozen shrimp from Kroger, check your freezers. A Seattle, Washington, company has expanded an earlier recall of various packages of frozen shrimp to include shrimp sold at the nationwide grocer because of possible contamination.

Various packages of Kroger frozen raw and cooked shrimp, as well as shrimp skewers, are being recalled because of a possible health risk. AquaStar (USA) Corp, a Seattle, Washington company, announced the expanded recall that was first announced in August and included shrimp sold under other brands and not in stores located in Michigan at that time
