The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that it has awarded a $2 million prize on a winning Powerball ticket.

The ticket was bought online for the Monday, Sept. 22, drawing, lottery officials said in a press release.

The ticket matched all five of the white balls drawn — 3-29-42-46-59 — but not the red Powerball to win $2,000,000, minus applicable taxes.

The winners are not known until their tickets have been validated and the prizes have been claimed. Powerball winners have exactly one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.

Winning tickets bought at a retailer should immediately be signed on the back. Online winnings of $2 million or more should be claimed in person at the Pennsylvania Lottery headquarters in Middletown. Online winnings of lesser amounts automatically appear in
