REVERE, Mass. —

A man was arrested over the weekend after allegedly attacking his coworker with machetes and threatening to kill him at an Amazon facility in Massachusetts.

Evens Laforet, 24, was charged with assault with intent to murder, assault with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery.

Revere police say they responded to the Amazon facility on American Legion Highway for a report of a workplace assault involving a machete.

Arriving officers discovered that Laforet chased a fellow employee with two machetes following a workplace dispute.

Police did not disclose what the dispute was about.

Witnesses said that Laforet threatened to kill the victim and even stood over him wielding both machetes. Other employees then intervened, and Laforet ran from the building toward a nearby
