HOUSTON - The jury is now deliberating in the trial of Tony Earls Jr. in Houston.

Earls is charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of 9-year-old Arlene Alvarez in 2022.

Earls is accused of shooting at the girl’s family’s vehicle, incorrectly believing a man who had just robbed him had gotten into it.
