SALT LAKE CITY – A 0-3 start to the season and a coaching staff on the hot seat are reportedly leading the New York Giants to insert rookie QB Jaxson Dart into the starting lineup over veteran Russell Wilson .

ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the change on Tuesday, September 23.

Wilson has completed 59.1 percent of his passes for 778 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions this season. Two sub-par performances sandwiched around an OT loss against Dallas made the change a likelihood.

Since the preseason, Giants fans have clamored for the franchise to lean into the future with Dart rather than stick with Wilson for a ‘veteran boost’.

If Dart does start against Los Angeles, it will be no easy landing
