NEW SWEDEN -- The search for a missing teenager from New Sweden continues.

Tomorrow (Wed) it will be one year since then 13 year old Stefanie Damron was reported missing from her home.

He parents told police she went into the woods after having an argument with her sister.

Since then the Maine State Police major crimes unit, the Maine Warden Service, the FBI, volunteers and other search and rescue organizations have done extensive searches of the area.

Despite all their efforts Stefanie is still missing.

A spokesperson for the Maine State Police says the investigation remains active and investigators continue to follow up leads.
