One of the Eagles’ NFC East rivals is making the switch to a rookie quarterback.

The New York Giants are starting first-round rookie Jaxson Dart and benching veteran Russell Wilson, according to a Tuesday report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter .

Dart, who the Giants selected No. 25 overall in the 2025 NFL draft out of Ole Miss, will start for New York against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.

The Eagles will likely face Dart when they travel to MetLife Stadium for a Week 6 matchup with the Giants on Thursday, Oct. 9. The game will broadcast on Prime Video.
