ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Ala. ( WSFA ) - A man has been arrested after an attempt to smuggle contraband into Holman Correctional Facility, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections.

At about 3:30 a.m. on Monday, ADOC agents spotted a man carrying a bag running toward the fence around the facility.

The man, identified as Jauvon Travis Leonard, was detained and his bag was investigated. It was found with seven individually wrapped packages that contained:

14 cell phones

1 lock blade knife

5 phone cards

1 phone charger cord

1 silver necklace

About 154 grams of marijuana

About 58 grams of methamphetamines
