TOLEDO, Ohio — The southbound US-23 ramp to eastbound I-475 is closed due to a semi crash.

According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, exit 232 on I-475 shut down after a semi truck ran off the roadway down an embankment around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

According to ODOT, cleanup from the crash will continue overnight, with the ramp expected to reopen after the Wednesday morning commute.

Officials stated that traffic is currently being detoured to the Central Avenue exit or Dorr Street exit, where motorists can then take US-23 north and travel east to I-475.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown. Officers on the scene have not released information on whether anyone is injured following the collision.
