On Tuesday, five days ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the Eagles, the Bucs added 449-pound nose tackle Desmond Watson to their practice squad. He will be the heaviest player in NFL history.
At that size, Watson could neutralize the tush push. Tampa Bay could bring him up from the practice squad to play against the Eagles.
In the last two weeks, the Eagles used the tush push on two touchdowns in their victories over the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams. They ran it six times against KC.
