A man died after his vehicle rolled over on eastbound Interstate 10 in Palm Desert the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 23.
The California Highway Patrol reported a vehicle rolled over at around 7:58 a.m., west of Cook Street.
The solo vehicle crash ended with the 2003 Ford Explorer on its roof on the right shoulder of the road, with a man still inside, according CHP spokesperson David Torres.
The man, a 48-year old from Los Angeles whose name was not immediately released, died at the scene, according to a CHP news release.
The release said the man mad an "unsafe turning movement" to the right before driving off the roadway. The crash was still under investigation as of 11 a.m. Tuesday.
