A serious accident took place at an industrial building in Avon, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, officials said.

Avon police and firefighters were at the scene of the incident on Bodwell Street, a representative said. A fire truck was seen at a building in a stretch of industrial businesses.

The Norfolk County District Attorney's Office confirmed it was helping police investigate.

Officials didn't immediately share more details, including how many people may have been hurt or what the cause was.
