ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The next phase of MARTA’s plan to transform the Five Points station has a date.
The Peachtree Street entrance will close on Monday, Oct. 13. The federal tunnel for employees will also be off limits.
The Forsyth Street entrance will be the only way to enter the station.
MARTA is transforming the Five Points station into a city center with several amenities. The first phase of the project includes the deconstruction and removal of the concrete canopy. Future phases will include building a new canopy.
The project will cost approximately $230 million.
