WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- Two people from D.C. pleaded guilty on Tuesday after being accused of a violent armed carjacking in Southeast, the U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia announced.

The USAO said that 56-year-old Brian Allison and 25-year-old Angel Hall both pleaded guilty to one charge of carjacking and aiding and abetting.

Officials state that around 11 p.m. on Feb. 1, 2024, Allison and Hall both followed the victim, who was going into a restaurant on the 4500 block of Benny Rd. SE. Neither of them ordered anything, but after the victim got her food, they followed her out.

As the victim walked to her vehicle, Allison walked up to her and flashed a gun that he had in his pocket.
