WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police arrested someone after they allegedly robbed two people during online marketplace sales in the District.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that the first incident took place on Aug. 16. Around 1:30 p.m., victims and suspects met up for a prearranged online sale in the 2300 block of Wagner St. SE.
Two of the suspects had guns and demanded that the victims hand over items. The victims did so, and the suspects escaped with the victims' items and money.
The next incident took place on Sept. 14. MPD said that around 3:35 p.m., victims and suspects met in the 2300 block of 24th St. SE. This time, one of the suspects pulled out a knife and demanded money. The victims handed over money, and the suspects escaped once again.
