Stan the T. Rex calls the Children’s Museum of Richmond home

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - The King of the dinosaurs is stomping into a new era in Richmond.

Stan the T. Rex, a life-size replica of one of the most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex skeletons ever discovered, has a new permanent home at the Children’s Museum of Richmond on Broad Street!

Stan is 40-feet long and 14-feet tall, the same length as a GRTC bus!

To mark his arrival, a special unveiling was held at the museum.
