JVS to hold car show
BLOOMINGDALE — The Jefferson County Vocational School will hold a car show from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the school parking lot to benefit the auto service technology program.
Wheels of all kinds are invited to attend the event being organized by Principal Heather Hoover and AST instructor Ron Reasoner.
Proceeds will support a field trip to an automobile factory in the spring.
Hoover said attendees will check in and register as they enter the campus and pay a $10 fee. The first 25 vehicles will receive commemorative JVS 50th anniversary dash plaques. Exhibits will not be judged.
The public is invited to view the displays and enjoy food, music and fundraisers throughout the day.
