CAROLINE, Va. (WWBT) - Officials are now investigating vehicle break-ins and gun thefts in two separate neighborhoods. The suspects were armed with guns and caught on camera.

The Caroline County Sheriff’s office is working to find the suspects who broke into several vehicles in 2 different neighborhoods, Glen Meadows and Campbell’s Creek. It all happened overnight on Sunday, and authorities got word of the incidents over the last couple of days.

The vehicles had one thing in common: they were all unlocked.

Officials were able to get video of the suspects on a doorbell camera.

“As soon as that video went out on Facebook, we were able to grab that video and use it to our advantage to get some additional leads on this case,” Sheriff Scott Moser, with Caroline County Sheriff’s Office, said
