Vehicle buyers who have been considering purchasing an all-electric car, truck or SUV have just one week left to add some serious savings to the deal.

The $7,500 maximum tax credit for new vehicles and $4,000 maximum benefit for used vehicles expires Sept. 30.

Roger Deally is with Holler-Classic Automotive Group. He tells WESH 2 News Holler’s nine dealerships have 140 electric vehicles that qualify for the full $7,500 tax credit, and they’re looking to move them right away.

The current tax credits were enacted under the Inflation Reduction Act during the administration of former President Joe Biden. But the credit is going away under a Bill signed by President Donald Trump in July.
