KANSAS (KSNT) - The United States Postal Service (USPS) has relaunched Operation Santa, offering children the opportunity to write and send gifts to Santa.
People can participate by writing letters to Santa or adopting letters. Adopters will need to make an account in order to browse and select up to 15 letters with wishes to fulfill. Adopters can send gifts through the Gift Shoppe or a participating post office. If your gift is purchased using the Gift Shoppe, all packaging and shipping will be handled for you.
The USPS reports that adopters can respond to letters however they'd like. It says some people fulfill one or two of the child's wishes, while others may choose to give all the gifts the child asked for. The USPS says only new items are acceptable due to health and safety reasons
