As utility bills continue to rise across Indiana, one Indianapolis-based group has started a campaign to influence Gov. Mike Braun to tackle the problem.

“We have a governor that, since the election, has emphasized, at least with his words, affordability,” said Kerwin Wilson, executive director of Citizens Action Coalition. “We’ve seen little action on that front and little deliverables on that front.”

The Citizens Action Coalition created “Stop Mike’s Hikes,” which is an accountability campaign asking Braun “to answer for skyrocketing electricity bills and change misguided energy decisions” statewide, according to a Tuesday news release.
