The Mesa City Council has issued a notice of intent to adjust utility rates, beginning a 60-day period for residents and businesses to review the proposal and share their feedback.
Under the council’s proposal, most Mesa households would see an increase of less than $6 per month on their utility bills, according to a release.
The council is expected to consider the adjustments in November, with a final vote scheduled for Dec. 1. If approved, the new rates would take effect Jan. 1, 2026.
