BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Four men from Norwalk have been federally indicted for their alleged roles in a kidnapping and carjacking that occurred in Bridgeport in August 2023.

A report from the Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut announced Monday that the indicted Norwalk men are Samuel “Sosa” Branch, 27; Giovanni Hudson, 34; Dontate Scullark, 22; and William Hinton, 22.

The indictment alleges that the four men conspired to kidnap a victim in Bridgeport. They reportedly surveilled a victim while traveling together in an SUV on the night of Aug. 2, 2023, and morning of Aug. 3, 2023.
