HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Several updates came out of the Henderson Board of Commissioners meeting for several key projects.

Most of the topics covered construction and development of public improvement projects including retail development, Meritt Drive improvements, and updates on the Wathen Lane project.

The board also approved a lease agreement for the placement of a ‘Safe Haven Baby Box’ that will be placed at the new fire station being built on second street.
