LAS VEGAS – The family of an actor filed a lawsuit alleging that workers at a Las Vegas mega-resort failed to act when he collapsed at a restaurant and later died in 2024, according to local reports.

Michael Heslin’s estate claimed in a Clark County District Court filing that employees at the Aria Resort & Casino “stood by,” failed to perform CPR or start an emergency response protocol as the incident occurred at the upscale Mexican restaurant Javier’s, according to CBS affiliate KLAS.

The complaint, filed Sept. 18, states that Heslin had been showing obvious signs of medical distress – The Las Vegas Review Journal reported .
