After the first three games of frustration and drama, the Houston Texans have cut veteran safety CJ Gardner Johnson. According to the breaking news, the Texans are parting ways with Gardner Johnson after spending less than a season in Houston. Originally selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the former Florida product became one of the bigger contributors in the past success for why the Philadelphia Eagles went to the Super Bowl in February. In a shocking move, the Eagles traded him to the Texans in exchange for offensive lineman Kenyon Green, which didn't please Gardner Johnson to cap off his one-year tenure in Philadelphia.

Despite that, things haven't looked bright for the safety as, reportedly, he's been a solid communicator in the locker room with all of the athletes. W
