DEXTER, Ore. - Residents of Wheeler Road are expressing serious concerns over a proposed RV park that could increase traffic and safety risks in their community.

The project, which plans to add 25 RV spaces near Highway 58, has locals worried about the impact on their already congested and dangerous roads. One resident voiced their fears about the safety of the intersection at Wheeler Road and Highway 58.

"One of our main concerns is safety because the intersection of Wheeler Road and Highway 58 is a dangerous one. In order to get to the proposed park, you have to make a sharp turn, another sharp turn, and another sharp turn," said Terry Mauney, a Wheeler Road resident.

Residents have appealed the county's decision to approve the project, but they say the process has been frustrating.
