EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Vanderburgh County leaders discussed the idea of putting a pedestrian crosswalk at 5900 North Saint Joseph Avenue near Wimberg.

Dirck Stahl serves as legal counsel for the Evansville Vanderburgh County Area Planning Commission and brought the idea before commissioners this afternoon. Stahl says it would be a big asset to the Grandin Pointe Mobile Park and to residents in the area.

Stahl says there is very limited food options, especially for fresh food, and this crosswalk would give those who don't have a lot of mobility or transportation more options.
