The game's best players from the U.S. and Europe will face off Friday through Sunday at the 2025 Ryder Cup in Farmingdale, New York. Bethpage Black is the host course for this marquee event, which is sure to be a memorable one with how talented each team is.
Below, we search for the best value prop bets for the Ryder Cup from BetMGM Sportsbook's odds and make our PGA Tour picks and predictions.
Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy lead their respective teams into Bethpage as the top golfers on each squad. The Americans are looking to take back the cup after getting crushed in Italy 2 years ago, while the Europeans are trying to win on American soil for the 1st time since 2012 at Medinah. Among the other notable players competing this week are Bryson DeChambeau, Ludvig Aberg, Xander Schauffele and Tommy Fleetwood.
Bethpage Black is an incredibly challenging course at 7,352 yards and playing as only a par 70. The rough is long and brutal to escape, while the fairways are narrow and the greens are protected by bunkers as well as that thick rough.
Ryder Cup – Top U.S. points scorer
Odds provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated Tuesday at 8:54 p.m. ET.
Sam Burns (+1100)
There's no question Scheffler (+275) is the best player in the world, but he's just 2-2-3 in his Ryder Cup career. Burns has far less experience, only playing three matches in 2023 when he went 1-2, but oftentimes, these matches come down to putting and Burns is one of the best putters in the world right now. Plus, being friends with Scheffler, he might get paired with the World No. 1 a couple of times and benefit from it.
Bryson DeChambeau (+600)
DeChambeau is exactly the type of player who could take advantage of Bethpage's length. He crushes the ball off the tee and is strong enough to muscle it out of the rough, making him a perfect fit for this course.

Ryder Cup – Top European points scorer
Rory McIlroy (+350)
McIlroy went 4-1 in 2023, only losing 1 down to Patrick Cantlay and Wyndham Clark in the Saturday fourballs session with Matt Fitzpatrick as his partner. He probably won't sweep and win 5 points this year, but with his length off the tee and his T-8 finish at Bethpage in the 2019 PGA Championship, he just might have a great week.
Viktor Hovland (+800)
Hovland is fairly accurate off the tee and has always been great with his irons, two essential traits at Bethpage. He went 3-1-1 in 2023 after struggling in 2021 when he went 0-3-2, but he has a good chance to play all 5 matches and be a valuable player for Europe.
Ryder Cup – Top U.S. captain's pick
Sam Burns (+400)
We're going back to Burns here over others such as Cantlay (+300), Justin Thomas (+400), Collin Morikawa (+450), Cameron Young (+500) and Ben Griffin (+600). Burns played well in the second half of the season and should carry that momentum into this weekend's action.

Ryder Cup – Top European captain's pick
Viktor Hovland (+400)
It's tough to go against Jon Rahm (+175) and Aberg (+350) here, but Hovland is a nice value at +400 for the reasons listed above.
Ryder Cup – Top rookie overall
Cameron Young (+275)
Much will be made about Young playing in front of a home crowd in New York, and there's something to that. But more importantly, he's a long hitter who can give himself an advantage over his opponents by bombing it off the tee. The biggest question with Young is his putter.
Ryder Cup – Day 3 winner
Team USA (-118)
The U.S. may not have the chemistry and experience that the Europeans do, with Rasmus Hojgaard being Europe's only rookie. However, individually, they might have an edge on Sunday. Take them to win singles on the final day, potentially cutting into what might be a European lead.
