A powerful piece of legislation aimed at tackling the deadly fentanyl crisis is on the brink of becoming law — and it carries the name of a young man from Anchorage whose life was tragically cut short.
Bruce’s Law, expected to be signed by President Trump within the week, represents a major step forward in the nationwide fight against fentanyl overdoses and deaths.
At the heart of the law’s creation is Sandy Snodgrass, a mother turned advocate, who began her mission after losing her only son, Bruce, to fentanyl poisoning at just 22 years old.
