PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 26-year-old murder suspect who they say was accidentally released on Monday.

Ty Anthony Sage was reportedly released from the Multnomah County Detention Center after posting bail on Monday, Sept. 25.

The sheriff’s office says the initial release order signed on Sept. 17 indicated Sage’s bail was set for $5,000, but that in this case he should not have been able to post bail.

Sage was arrested in connection to a robbery and shooting at a Gresham apartment complex that left a 15-year-old dead and two others injured back in 2021.

Sage and 26-year-old Kevin Rivas-Ramirez were arrested in May on murder and robbery charges.
