DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (WFIE) - A volunteer basketball coach is accused of threatening students in Dawson Springs.

The complaint warrant for 29-year-old Judd Tyson shows he told students he should “curb stomp” them, and he didn’t care if it broke their necks.

Tyson faces two counts of terroristic threatening.

He was booked into jail Friday and released on bond.

School officials confirm Tyson is the coach they are referring to in a statement that was shared:

“The safety and well-being of our students and athletes is our top priority. We are taking these allegations very seriously and are cooperating fully with the appropriate authorities.”

They say Tyson has been placed on suspension pending the investigation.
