MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A man was shot to death in Frayser on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Memphis Police.

At 1:49 p.m., officers responded to a call at Saint Elmo Avenue and Point Church Road.

Police said when they arrived, a man who had been struck was pronounced dead on the scene.

They said preliminary information indicates that this was a shooting, and this is an ongoing investigation.
