KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One person is dead following a shooting Tuesday night in Northeast Kansas City.
Officers with the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) responded to the shooting around 8:20 p.m. in the area of Gardner Avenue and Chouteau Trafficway.
When officers arrived on scene they found one victim with life-threatening injuries. The victim was later pronounced dead.
KCPD said the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
No suspect information has been released at this time.
